2-nd Conference on Europe-Caucasus-Asia Connectivity

Armenia and the Global Gateway:

Opportunities within Global South Connectivity

Venue:           Armenian State University of Economics, Yerevan / Armenia

Date:             23 May 2025

Call for Papers

The rising geopolitical and geoeconomic uncertainties in the Eurasian continent and beyond, increase the significance of connectivity. As an ambitious initiative promoted by Europe, the Global Gateway tends to create a new development paradigm around the world based on global agenda, advanced technologies, and partnerships. Infrastructure development, adapting to the strategic interests of different regions including the Caucasus within Eastern Partnership, and sustainable projects are values-driven benefits of the Global Gateway. In this context, the geographical location and strategic approaches of Armenia could be the subject of research on connectivity between Europe and the Global South.
