Prof. Dr. phil. Hui-fang Chiao
Prof. Dr. Hui-fang Chiao is Professor of Business Chinese at the Faculty of Applied Languages and Intercultural Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau. Born in Taiwan, Chiao studied German at Wenzao University of Languages (Kaoshiung), Fu-Jen University (Taipei) and the University of Freiburg. She completed her doctorate at the Goethe University in Frankfurt with a DAAD scholarship. She gained teaching experience at universities in Taiwan and at the University of Leipzig. As a publicly appointed interpreter and translator for Chinese, she has provided professional support and assistance to many delegations from the worlds of politics, education and business. She speaks fluent German and English and is also familiar with the Japanese language.

Dr. phil. Tina Paul
Dr. Tina Paul studied Business Administration and Chinese at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau and then completed her doctorate in Intercultural Communication at Chemnitz University of Technology with a scholarship of the Saxonian Ministry of Science and Culture.
As a project staff member in the German-Chinese M.A.-Program at Zwickau University, she teaches and conducts research on Intercultural Communication and Sino-German science collaborations.

Prof. Dr. phil. Doris Weidemann
Prof. Dr. Doris Weidemann is Professor of Intercultural Training with a focus on Chinese-speaking cultural areas and International Business Administration at the Faculty of Applied Languages and Intercultural Communication at the University of Applied Sciences, Zwickau. A graduate psychologist, she lived in Taiwan for several years and completed her basic studies in Sinology. Her main research interests are Cultural Psychology, Intercultural Communication and Intercultural Learning and Indigenous Chinese Psychology. She is currently involved with the internationalization of social sciences and several German-Chinese cooperation projects.
